But perhaps even more glaring is the list of features and functions missing from AutoCAD for the Mac. For example, there is no Action Recorder, Batch Standards Checker, dynamic block authoring, hyperlink capabilities, in-place editing of blocks or external references, no xref notification, and no layer filters or layer translation. But any one of these omissions could be a show stopper for some customers, who may elect to stick with running AutoCAD on their Mac using a virtual machine until more of those gaps are filled.

To Zoom in or Zoom out: well you've all seen this done on an iPhone or iPad - pinch your fingers together to Zoom Out, pull them apart to Zoom in. You can also swipe a finger up or down on Magic Mouse - much like you would a wheel see - Macs don't need no stinkin' wheel!

You can, of course, always use the Viewcube as well. All of these take a little getting used to for the PC user - but come much more naturally to the Mac user or so they say. And truth be told - you can always grab your beloved PC mouse and use that instead AutoCAD for Mac has a great welcome video that also takes you through these gestures.

I know some Mac desktop users who also use the "Magic Trackpad" with their keyboards - and that involves a similart set of gestures but a much larger desk than I have. I hear that once you go Mac - you never go back! Posted at PM Permalink. You should try all you can to make the Logitech mouse current or SetPoint settings won't work. Did you try the mouse before re-installing SetPoint? I've had several Logitech mice and have not needed the software. Could it be possible that I may have hit the wrong combination of keys. Now doesn't worked.
